Based on my experience I can say with 100% certainty that adverse Mental Conditions, like, stress, depression, anxiety, etc. are sure to precipitate the UC attack. Real problem lies on the official front where it is very difficult to make people understand this phenomenon and despite the best efforts on part of the UC soldier, he is subjected to Mental stress, many a times resulting in flared -up state of UC. One of the reasons is very low level of awareness about UC in India. Also the nomenclature UC is itself misleading in the sense that it fails to capture the exact nature of the disease.
All said and done one has to find a way out on his own, specially in the official circles. Yes, the support of family is very critical in the entire existence process. Increased awareness can help improve the situation. Hope is the best way to survive.
It seems Brinjal and Lady's Finger are a no no for UC soldiers....
